Homeownership

Support is offered through the Georgia Morgage Assistance Program, HomeSafe Georgia, State Home Mortgage and more.

Rental Housing Assistance 

Support is provided through the Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly known as Section 8) and the State of Georgia Rental Assistance Program. 

​

Homeless and Special Needs Housing

These services include the Emergency Housing Voucher Program, HUD 811, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS, Reentry Partnership Housing (RPH), and more.

Covington Housing Authority

The Covington Housing Authority manages five "public housing" federally assisted housing communities in Covington: Alcovy Community, Fowler Court, Holmes Court, Taylor/Jackson Community, and New Leaf Apartments.

Public housing units are provided to low-income families and individuals who meet the housing authorities' eligibility requirements.

​
